Lynch, who was captured and held prisoner in Iraq after the Humvee she was riding in took a wrong turn, was released today from Walter Reed Army Medical Facility in Washington, DC. Contreras, who along with Lynch was a member of the 507th Maintenance Company, is a former Pecos resident. Her cousin said the two planned to get married.
