Kicks, I was wondering why you posted your Dad here. But now I have read the link and see that it is more than appropriate. Your Dad's quite a man. And I humbly thank him for his sacrafices in the cause of liberty.

Jessefan,
Thanks for the kind words and sentiment. We have always been proud of him and he's been a great role model. When my first child was born I huged my dad and said "I just hope I can be as good a dad as you".

http://www.nzherald.co.nz/latestnewsstory....section=general
The parents of a New Zealander taken prisoner during the Iraq war say he needed 10 days to read "numerous" cards and letters after being whisked to safety.
Athol and Jane Riley said their son, Sergeant James Riley of New Jersey, wanted to thank "all the many friends and relatives and people of New Zealand for their support".
Mr Riley was born in Auckland and left for the United States 21 years ago at the age of 10.
He was one of five soldiers taken prisoner on March 23 when the US 507th Maintenance Company was ambushed near Nasiriyah.
