I am so glad you are back on American soil. You are wonderful, and I am so glad that you are a fighter.

My father had been as well. He served during WWII, and was a POW, too. For that reason, I have always been pro-military, because it was kind of in-bred.

I am thirty-five years old, and the only thing I can think of is that you are a child-but you sure grew up the hard way, and I pray that you have a speedy and easy recovery. I pray that all that rehab just goes so smoothly, it will surprise even the doctors.

And Jessica, I salute you, as I salute your comrades-thank you for doing what I could have never done-since I would never have passed an entrance physical,while I would have been in the service otherwise. I had wanted to be a Navy pilot.

I wished I could meet you one day, and just tell you in person, but when I heard that you said "please don't leave me", it made me cry-just as when you said you were a soldier too. I cried because I am so proud of you, and yet I cried because I could never begin to imagine what you have gone through, and what I fear you will go through with the rehab and the media...............

I pray for a speedy recovery.
