I was having a conversation with someone concerning the why young people join the military. There are various reasons (money for college and career training, patriotism, and etc.) why young people join the military after they graduate from High school. Since the troubles in Iraq started to increase greatly over the past year and the military is having it's own challenges keeping people in it's ranks from recently. Those concerns have given rise to the speculation of new military draft.
Despite what has been said, I do believe that once a high school graduate (man and woman), they should be immediately required to do two solid years of military or national service, before they attend any college or pursue a career.
