Welcome home Private

As a retired Marine and the father of the second female Marine ever to check into Camp Lejeune for combat training, I have followed your story with special interest. Every time I heard a report about you, my thoughts went to my baby daughter. She is known as "Rambit". In combat training they say she fought like Rambo but looked like Bambi. You remind me so much of her. She is still deployed, but we hope she will be home soon.

Serving your country with honor and courage is hard. You did it well. Hold your head high, no matter what negative things might be said. I served in Vietnam. My homecomming was a little different than yours. Unless someone has been in a war zone, I pay no attention to what they say. They just don't know what they are talking about.

I wish you well and am very proud of the way you served your country. If you need anything, and I mean anything, give this old Marine a call and it's yours.
