It's no suprise Jessica is planning on pursuing a career as a Kindergarden Teacher. Based on my experience in higher education, NOW is a very good time for Jessica to begin looking at colleges with teaching certification programs which she would like to possible attend. It takes about one to two years for someone Jessica's age to do a good, thorough search of colleges that offer teaching degrees! Not only that, she should also talk to Ruben and consider where they may settle after they get married. Eventhough Jessica might go to school in West Virginia and get her teaching degree there, she and Ruben might settle in Colorado. If that's the case, Jessica will need to get teacher certified before she gets a teaching job in that state. Also, she will have to get intouch wit the VA about money she earned through the GI BIll. I also remember reading where West Viginia was to offer her a scholarship to a college that offers a teaching program. If they are still going to offer her that scholarship, is it a ful or partial one??


I know jessica is still a ways from going to college... BUT, she needs to start her search for colleges NOW and the money to finance it now.

I'm glad that Jessica will be contuning her educastion because sometimes when people go through this stuff with war and everything they get depressed but Jessica is very brave and caring person, so she is doing the right thing by going out this and moving on with her life..peggy
