Has anyone seen this article yet? Jessica is still giving talks during school breaks, and she was in Marietta, OH to talk to a local rifle club. She mentions that she's pieced together a lot on the inside (all those rods, pins, and screws for her leg and foot injuries, and that metal cage for her back), and that the little things still bother her, like not being able to wear high heels or flip-flops, or be able to walk barefoot in the sand when she was in Hawaii. And in lieu of a speaking fee, the club members donated $575 to the Jessica Lynch Foundation.

Here's the article for anyone who's interested, it's from the Marietta Times (OH)

I wasn't able to download the article, whatever the reason. The following link worked and I was able to view the photo of Jessica. She still "keeps smiling through" despite the things that bother her.
With so much of the news centering on Britney Spears and others with similar problems, Jessica's strength of character shines through once again.
A guote from the article.

Lynch travels all over the country making speeches and raising money for her foundation. To date, she said that the foundation has given almost $100,000 to support the children of soldiers wounded or killed in action and underprivileged seniors at her alma mater, Wirt County High School, who are planning to go to college.
