While looking up other things, I came across this. I don't remember any press being given this young woman's sacrafice. What most stuck me was:

"She didn't have to go to Saudi because of back problems but wouldn't shirk her duties. She was told she didn't have to go into Iraq, but again wouldn't shirk her duty. In all our eyes, Cindy is the definition of "Hero". "

I have just learned that Cindy left a daughter behind. She was a 19-year-old mom.

I would just like to clarify that Cindy did NOT have a daughter. She was NOT a 19-yr old mom. I personally know this.
