Since this is baby Dakota Ann's first Christmas, it begs the question: just what does one give for a baby's first Christmas? Stuffed animals obviously, but what else?

In case you're reading this, Jessica, Merry Christmas to you, Wes, Dakota, and all your family and friends! Have a joyful holiday and a happy 2008!

My Christmas wish and prayer for Dakota Ann, is for a future of peace in the world, and for her health and happiness in the years to come.

A Vermont , First Christmas teddy bear, would also be nice. smile.gif

Merry Christmas, Jessica and Family.

Good question Matt! Jessica and Wes may consider some clothes (dakota will probably grow out of them quickly), a keepsake, saving bond, start a college fund, learning toys, or possibly start an IRA (it's never too early for that!).

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to Jessica, Wes, Dakota, and their families!!

Patience:

You should have told me you wanted to give Dakota Ann a Vermont Teddy bear for X-mas. I do not live far from where they are made. Have an outlet about ten minutes away in fact, in Waterbury, right up on Rt. 100. Wonder what is going on down there for her first year of all this;)

I think Dakota Ann probably has one of these bears. They are a bit expensive, but are very well made and have a lifetime guarantee. Best of all, they are made in Vermont.

It has been a while since we've heard any news about Jessica. Hopefully, her last surgery procedure went well.

We'll probably hear something in the WV papers and TV around the time of Dakota's birthday. As for Jessica's most recent foot surgery; hopefully, this time it did the job, but it may very well be something that she has to put up with every 2 or 3 years. Here's hoping it isn't, and everything went as well as it was supposed to. The last time we saw Jessica was her stuffed animal drive for the WVU Children's Hospital; I wonder how that's going?

Yes, believe it or not they are actually made in Vermont. That is surprising these days.
