...but the surgery is done (couple of extractions). Really strange to not feel one of those 2 teeth there. From where my upper wisdoms would be (if they'd ever descend) I lost the farthest one back, then kept the next one, and lost the one after that (which is the only one I can feel missing with my tongue).

Not a lot of pain, actcally, even without an Advil... but I can definitely feel the swelling. Shoudl be gone in a few days. The best part is, the teooth I can feel gone was the one that gave me the most pain!

The worst part was coming out of the anesthetesia...which I do NOT do well! I went under around 12pm, was done by 1, but didn't end up leaving until 4 because I kept throwing up...the last time when I got to the wife's car (not in it, tho...I sat on the doorjamb because I felt it coming).

I spent the rest of the night sacked out on the downstairs couch...and most of the morning as well. Probably tonight unless I feel like climbing the stairs. Definitely not going into work.

Been eating a lot (had practically nothing yesterday) and am feeling sleepy again...think I'll listen to the bod & lay down again...my cats'll like that.

I sincerely hope Jessica doesn't react to being put to sleep like I do...throwing up for a few hours after one surgery is one thing....but after all the times she went under the knife (including in Nasiryah)...yikes...

Hopefully you're feeling better by now Soprano. That sounds just like what happened to my dad after waking up from knee surgery last year, so it's probably a common reaction to anaesthesia.

Well, the swelling's almost gone, but it's wierd brushing arouns that one remaining tooth!!

About the reaction, everyone else I've talked to has never had such pucking coming out of surgery...and the one time I took a vicodin, I pucked for 8 hours!

Since vicodin and general anesthetic are narcotic based, I think I have a narcootic allergy...
