Yesterday was 23 March, the 6th anniversary of the attack on the 507th, which had nine soliders killed in action, and eight soldiers as POWs, of whom two, Sgt. Donald Walters (who was murdered) and Pfc. Lori Piestewa died in captivity. The annual memorial service for Lori and the others who died that day was held at the peak that bears her name, and there was the usual coverage from the Phoenix media. Two stories had slideshows, and here they are. KTAR radio's site has a pic of Jessica holding little Dakota Ann, and it shows Dakota's in her mother's arms. She's calm now, but imagine how much a handful she no doubt is to her parents. When she gets older, she'll be able to learn about the woman she's named after.
Here's the links to the stories (with slideshows)

Treat everyone you meet with kindness and respect, but always have ready a plan to kill them.

Thanks for the links. Note: you can still save those pictures with a screen capture program like ScreenHunter 4.0, which is freeware.
