Film Rescue Scene In Iraq? Jessica Lynch Movie

NBC has already said they will present a movie on Jessica Lynch and her rescue from Iraq with or without her permission for their new TV season in the Fall. If they cannot secure movie rights from her and her family, they will go with information from stories in the press and possibly other witnesses.

So that movie is definitely coming, and there will likely be more.

My suggestion is that they film the rescue scene at the same hospital in Iraq that it actually occurred in. In fact, why not have the brave fighting men who rescued her reenact their parts?

I'm not suggesting that Jessica herself go back there to play herself... she's got way too much healing to do before any accepting anything like that. But the guys that rescued her are great soldiers in top condition. What a great demonstration of battle courage, discipline as well as providing us recreated documentation of an actual event that is destined for the history books.

I believe the people of Iraq would love to see an American film company shoot these scenes there. This would be a great investment in American-Iraqi friendship.

And enlistments in the US Military would skyrocket the next day.

I also hoping that George Bush invite Jessica Lynch and all the recent POW's and their families to be in the audience for his State of the Union address in January, and that Jessi is 110% recovered by then. They'd get a standing ovation longer than the rest of his speech!

What do you all think of my ideas?

P.S. Jessi, I don't think kindergarden teacher is in your future. .. Senator from West Virginia would be a more realistic goal for you to set.
