"let The Generations Know" 30 minute video history of women in the

This 30 minute video was filmed by the Pentagon. It was made with input from General Vaught, Col. Cornum, and many others. It may not be available very long but is downloadable to Windows Media Player, if interested. I posted this as the role of Women in the military continues to be debated.
The film begins with the role of women during the
early American war years up to the role of women in the military today (Oct. 2005.)
If the picture does not show well, try changing the speed.

Click on the Recon link after accessing the pentagon channel. "Let the generations know."

This video is a wonderful tribute to women in the military!! The conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan are a turing point for women in the military. I am happy to see women are being recognized more for their service and sacrifices.

I was one of the 30,000 women veterans at the dedication, a proud moment in my life.
